Thirteen Teardrops zine is 16 pages outtake of a larger book project I made end 2023 which is also called Thirteen Teardrops.
The zine is a photographic story of identity, darkness, and love. A quest to find one's way, and an eternal longing to be part of something bigger.
The project revolves around real life, fiction, the unexpected and the staged. The zines photographs are a mix of portraits and close-ups of friends, family and random encounters, landscapes, and details. The photographs reflect both a melancholic and lonely journey, but also depict intimate and authentic encounters between people.
