‘FOLDED CITIES’ at Lagerhuset Bibliotek,

The exhibition brought together self-published photobooks by Italian artists, selected through an open call organised by SWIT, and put them in dialogue with Nordic publications already held in the Take 10 Press Library collection. The selection was built on thematic and methodological connections, but also on contrasts, in expression, aesthetics, and production methods.
In line with SWIT and Take 10 Press's shared aim of building networks and bridges between different artistic scenes, the exhibition was presented in Gothenburg within a public space, Lagerhusets bibliotek, integrated among the library's existing book collection. This created an unexpected encounter with an audience not usually in contact with this kind of artistic practice.
After Gothenburg, the exhibition travels to Italy. First in Palermo in collaboration with Église followed by Milan in collaboration with Chippendale Studio and Condominio xyz.
