WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REST.
Situations and texts: Kim Th Grønborg and TS Høeg.

Suddenly they stood there as piles of leftovers from our daily lives. They pressed in as more than just trash, as sculptures hid in the discarded artifacts. These are everyday recognizable things that have been accumulated and thrown outside in random ways, which constitutes a unique arrangement for Aarhus, just to put things on display.

These leftovers were then photographed, selected and edited by Kim Th Grønborg, so that they gradually came to form works with their own meaning. And after having computer-processed and completely isolated the large garbage piles from their surroundings, these inherent sculptural qualities stand out even more clearly.

Since then, each sculpture situation has been linguistically commented on by TS Høeg and by adding his text fragments, an extra layer of stories, personal dramas and comments on consumerism and social conditions is expressed.
Kim Th Grønborg has long used found elements and materials. Now he can add found compositions: Parts from an urban nature that present the greatest possibilities in the remains of our over-consumer society, where things have a short lifespan and functional life.

It is also far from the first time that Grønborg and Høeg have collaborated, where these selected situations and texts are collected in an even more Space Poetry book publication:
